Sayan, the land of sun and alfajores

Lucinda Lumbre Nava offers behind the counter of Lumbre Sweets, the candy store that for 108 years working in downtown Sayan, a knowing smile with gluttony. Doña Lucinda inherited this local  with her three brothers, but it is she who still cultivates the kind treatment of his mother, Mrs. Santos Vargas of Lumbre, who on January 7, 1904 began selling among friends who prepared alfajores.Over time, this business idea would give Sayan fame of being a master confectioners district. The Amazon is officially one of the 7 natural wonders of the world

New 7 Wonders Foundation was officially recognized in the Amazon River, at a ceremony attended by President Ollanta Humala

The Amazon was recognized as one of the seven natural wonders of the world in a ceremony held in the Amazon River and attended by President Ollanta Humala and various national and regional authorities and representatives of the New 7 Wonders Foundation .
